Apple has increased its share of the computer market, not by a huge amount and it’s only a small gain, but the news is not all good.
The problem is that the computer market is shrinking and sales of both PCs and Apple Macs are falling. Apple increased its market share because sales did not fall as much as for some other companies.
Apple computer sales are down last quarter (Q1 2019) and sold 3.977 million computers. That is less than last year, but some PC suppliers did even worse, like Asus and Acer.
